Go Back Report # 947

Kingston, Ontario -November 1967, around8:45 P.M.

Two men were working guard tower shift at the Kingston Penitentiary. The guard in the Northwest Tower called the other and alerted him to a large object approaching from over the lake. It was an oval object, a structured disk, moving in a slow, floating manner at about 1500 to 2000 feet.

Occasionally, it shone a strong spotlight beam down on the lake. There was no noise as the object continued its slow approach over the next minute and a half. The guard went out to the catwalk and turned the prison's spotlight on it. The object stopped and began to move slowly away. At this time he noticed a rotating circle of lights around the craft. Then, at terrific speed, it "just disappeared altogether."
