Go Back Report # 946

Lake Scugog, Caesarea, Ontario - spring 1983, about 4-5:00 P.M.

Parents and daughter were fishing on the shore of a lake, when they noticed a large light (two feet in diameter) under the water. Standing up, they could see perhaps a dozen or so of these lights, generally in a cluster about 45 feet in diameter.

The nearest light was as close as ten feet away. After about twenty minutes two young men came up and watched the phenomenon in silence. When they turned and left, the phenomenon moved in their same general direction going down the lake. The water depth near the fishing pier was only eight feet and the lake 22 feet at its deepest, but the object, whatever it might have been, was not determinable.
