Sighting Description: Vi è solamente una brevissima e-mail del testimone che, senza indicare alcun elemento dell’avvistamento riporta una fotografia di un oggetto immortalato sul pelo dell’acqua al largo di Palinuro. Purtroppo non sono disponibili altri particolari. Da un primo e sommario esame della foto, potremmo comunque ipotizzare che possa trattarsi di un errore percettivo e che la foto ritragga o una riflesso oppure un natante od una piattaforma petrolifera al largo sfuocati dall’obiettivo o dalle particolari condizioni atmosferiche.      

Sighting Description: There is a very short e-mail from a witness who, without indicating anything about the sighting, sends a photograph of an object on the surface of the water off the coast of Palinuro. Unfortunately no other details are available. From a first and summary examination of the photograph, one could speculate that it is an error of perception and that the photograph has captured either a reflection, a sea vessel or even an oil rig, blurred by the lens or by atmospheric conditions.
