CISU Case: 176

Location: Verde Island (VE)

Category: B (Objects that fall into water or because they dive down after making some

                     additional maneuvers)

Evaluation: Insufficient information

Sighting Description: Many witnesses saw some lighted objects, which were either diving into or emerging from the sea. The sources were not clear and there may have been some inaccurate reporting on immersion or emergence. The objects were spheres of white light, but other persons spoke of solid or metallic forms.

This is a typical example of how sources and reports of UFO’s, which did not follow any method of scientific investigation, can taint potentially interesting cases.
