Sighting Description: Due pescatori, a circa sette miglia dalla costa, videro un disco volante emergere dal mare. Il disco era di forma ovoidale, luminoso e di colore argenteo. Aveva delle dimensioni di circa 20 metri di diametro ed è uscito a non più di duecento metri dalla loro barca. Dopo l’emersione, il disco avrebbe lasciato cadere sulle onde del mare soffici capelli d’angelo, quella che in gergo ufologico è conosciuta come bambagia silicea. In seguito il disco si è levato in volo ed è scomparso alla vista dei due testimoni.               

Sighting Description: At about seven miles from the coast, two fishermen saw a flying saucer emerge from the sea. The saucer had an oval shape, was brightly lighted and of a silver color. The dimensions were about 20 meters in diameter and it emerged from the water about 200 meters from their boat.  After emerging, the saucer dropped soft angel hair on the sea – referred to in UFO terminology as cotton wool. Subsequently the saucer rose in flight and disappeared from the view of the two witnesses.
