Sighting Description: A former firefighter that was strolling along the beach saw a dark object, with a color between gray and black. The object according to some glided on the water and sank about a mile from shore.  Nothing was found after an immense search operation was carried out. The search operations were so large because there was a reported missing Piper airplane that should have taken off from Livorno.  Only in evening was it found the airplane had never taken off.

coast. However I was unable to get coordinates for it, but there is a town close to it

   (2KM –1.5 miles-NE) names Campo Iemini for which I could get coordinates.-CF-
