Sighting Description: An airplane was seen falling into the sea approximately five miles from the coast. Bathers observed the airplane falling until it grazed the surface of the sea, and fearing that it was lost, they alerted the authorities. Sources on August 26 clearly indicate that the plane had sunk, while those of the following day reported that the plane, after checks, had landed at the airport of Miramare .
