Sighting Description: I centralini della Guardia Costiera ricevettero tantissime telefonate di persone che avevano osservato una grossa palla di fuoco che, dopo aver attraversato tutto il cielo, si era inabissata in mare. Vennero anche effettuati pattugliamenti con alcune motovedette, ma senza ritrovare nulla.                      

Sighting Description: The switchboards of the Coastal Guard received telephone calls of people that had observed a large ball of fire. The ball of fire crossed the sky and sunk into the sea. The Coastal Guard came and carried out search and rescue operations with some motor patrol vessels. They found nothing.
