(114)
23 August 1969 (00:00) Mataró (Barcelona,
Spain) Approximate date
Two witnesses, Sr. Pedro Queralt and another person who were at the seaside,
observed a luminous object that came down to the water level. It was just a
light without structure, larger than a star, scintillating, and white. It
disappeared, reappeared, rose at increasing speed, and was lost to sight. The
sighting lasted about 10 minutes.

Text
deleted since subsequent investigation leads to belief that this is “not a
close encounter; distant sighting; closeness to water because of illusion;
probably in the horizon. Deleted from the
landing catalog.”
