Go Back Report # 723

Four months later, on the 8th of July, a fireball with a red tail fell into the Orinoco River near Mapire, Anzoategui, Venezuela. It was seen by many people and several rushed to the river to look for it, but nothing was found in this instance either.

These last two incidents [See 03-23-1957-CF-] admittedly could have involved meteors, but the speed of the fall would seem to preclude this explanation.
