Sighting Description: Durante un sabato di agosto,
in una spiaggia affollata di persone, alcuni bagnanti osservarono uno strano
corpo che proveniva da Milazzo e si dirigeva a sud-ovest, verso la spiaggia,
attraversando le acque a circa 500 metri di distanza dalla costa. L’oggetto
aveva un corpo semovente fusiforme, di colore grigio piombo, affiorante
notevolmente sulla superficie marina e seguito da una scia impercettibile.
Alcune persone stimarono che l’oggetto procedesse ad una velocità di circa
140 km/h.
Sighting
Description: One Saturday in August on a crowded beach, some people
observed an unusual object coming from Milazzo and
going towards the southwest in the direction of the beach. The object was
crossing the water about 500 meters from the coast. The object had a
lead-gray and spindle-shaped, self-propelled body, which was floating noticeably above the surface, and it was followed by a gradual wake.
Some people estimated that the object was moving at a speed of 140
Kilometers per hour.
