Sighting Description: L’ing. Allerta, a bordo della sua imbarcazione, vide un aereo con del fumo in coda che precipitò in mare aperto. Avvertite le autorità cominciarono le solite operazioni di ricerca che non portarono a nulla, operazioni condotte dalla Capitaneria di Porto di Napoli. Il testimone ha poi precisato che c’era foschia al momento dell’avvistamento e che in effetti poteva anche essersi sbagliato.         

Sighting Description: L’ing Allerta, on board his boat, saw an airplane with smoke coming from the tail that fell into the open sea. Alerted, the Harbor Master's Office of Naples, which began the usual search and rescue operations and did not find anything. The witness has restated that there was haze at the moment of the sighting and could in effect be mistaken.
