Sighting Description:Due testimoni videro, in lontananza, un grande “spruzzo” nel mare seguito da una colonna di fumo. Come sempre la prima ipotesi fu che si era trattato di un aereo caduto in mare. Immediatamente avvertita, la Capitaneria di Porto ha effettuato una vasta operazione di soccorso (anche con navi della Marina ed elicotteri intervenuti da Rimini) che non ha dato, però, alcun esito.

Sighting Description: Two witnesses saw a large splash in the sea followed by a column of smoke. As always the first theory was that it was the result of an aircraft having fallen into the sea. Called out immediately, the Port Police carried out an extensive rescue operation that was unsuccessful that despite brining in Marine vessels and helicopters from Rimini.
