Sighting Description: La nave “Vento di Tramontana” in transito alle Bocche di Bonifacio, segnalò alla Capitaneria di Porto di Civitavecchia la presenza in mare di un oggetto galleggiante alla deriva, con una parte sporgente di circa due metri e mezzo, munita di tre alettoni dipinti a strisce rosse e gialle, lunghi un metro e larghi circa ottanta centimetri.       

Sighting Description: The ship “Vento di Tramontana (Wind of the North)” passing the Bocche di Bonifacio, signaled to the Harbor Master's Office of Civitavecchia the presence in the sea of a floating drifting object. The object had a part protruding about two meters. The object had three red, yellow painted strips a meter long and eighty centimeters wide.
