Sighting Description: About one hundred people saw, towards the east, a red glare on the sea after a violent storm. Some thought that it was a fire, but according to the others it was an airplane crashing in the sea. Both hypotheses were rejected by the authorities who suggested, instead, that it was a phenomenon caused by excessive thunder. Some patrons of a nightclub even suspended their dances to go to the beach and see the object, which disappeared after about twenty minutes.
