Moving from the USA to Canada, at 17:15 on 30 October 1965, an aluminum-colored flying object came down on the bed of the river St. Maurice (in the French-speaking province of Quebec) after emitting a luminous trail. Described as extremely similar to a “boat upside down” with a diameter of about 8 meters [26 feet], the UFO was first on the surface of the water in the presence of several witnesses, and then sank, giving the center of the river mass a deep dark color. According to eyewitnesses, the surface the current would stop, and then even, for some time, inexplicably reverse direction.
