Go Back Report # 1505

13 June 1981, Min-an Li, Chia-li Chen, Taiwan                                                     17:00

On June 13, 1981, an unidentified flying object descended from the sky, sparkling, on a field east of Min-an Li, Chia-li Chen, about 2,000 meters south to the Ma-chia Highway. It was around 5:00 p.m.

According to Mr. Chen Kan-tang, the witness, he and his wife were weeding on the farm next to the Ma-chia Highway when they suddenly heard a weird sound from above. On looking up, they saw a cone-shaped flying object about three meters in diameter, transparent like a diamond. There seemed to be many light bulbs on it, sparkling all the time, with thickly paneled apparatuses inside. It moved rapidly, revolving by itself, and spread out a curtain of mistin the meantime, which was very spectacular.

Mr. Chen, 52, who lives at 37-1, Tung-ning Li, Chia-li Chen, pointed at a fruit tree, saying that the UFO lowered it speed while descending, glided to the side of that tree, and touched down, but kept on spinning.

He added that the UFO did not make much noise, but there was a curtain of mist. It spun like a top that children play with, leaving no trace on the ground. About ten minutes later, there suddenly rose a cloud of dust. With increased spinning speed, it flew up northwards, hurried into the clouds in the southern sky, and disappeared in an instant.
