Sighting Description: L’ing. Boni, in compagnia della cugina, stava passeggiando lungo la sponda del Lago Maggiore, quando osservò un ribollio nell’e acque del lago, che si spostava parallelamente alla riva. Questo ribollio era ad una distanza di circa 100 metri dai testimoni e veniva udito distintamente uno sciacquio. Improvvisamente i due videro che tale ribollio e movimento delle acque era provocato da una massa scura, che venne definita un grosso cetaceo. L’osservazione durò per parecchi minuti, fin quando tale scia e la massa scura che la stava generando non furono ad una distanza tale da essere perse di vista.

Sighting Description: Mr. Boni, an engineer, was walking along the shore of Lake Maggiore with his cousin when he noticed a boiling in the water moving parallel to the shore. The boiling was about 100 meters from the witnesses who could clearly hear splashing. Suddenly the two witnesses saw that the boiling and the water movement were caused by a dark mass defined as a big cetacean. The sighting lasted for several minutes until the wake and the mass causing it were no longer visible.
