Go Back Report # 1469

06-28-1977

On June 28, a few people in Teheran [sic-Tehrān] reported seeing a strange object which was later confirmed on radar in Teheran with no further explanation.
Another incident involved a man with a flat tire between Ābādān and Ahwaz
(sic-Ahvāz). The heat from a "huge, bright object" which changed from red to green to purple and blue gave him the impression of closeness. Then its lights went off. As the witness sat in the car to sleep, the light returned, even closer. He thought it would fall on his car. When he turned off all his car's lights, the luminous form again was extinguished.
The last event noted in the press involved a Mr. A. Shojacei. For forty-five minutes, he reported watching a large strange form partially covered with very thick fog.
