NEW JERSEY STATE NEWS

Between Metuchen and Stelton a mirage of what appeared to be an ocean steamship with lights blazing from every quarter was noticed in the western sky last night. The ship seemed to be under full steam and the waves could be seen splashing against the ship's side. Edward Kent and Lieutenant Joseph Kay, of Metuchen, saw the phenomenon.
