Go Back Report # 1342

Object enters water

April 18, 2003, Kaliningrad, Russia. At 6:17 p.m., a large number of local residents observed a "flying wing" fly over at high speed and plunge into Kaliningrad Harbor.

The event was caught on video by a local RTR Russian State Television news crew, which was filming a documentary on the Russian Baltic Fleet. A Russian Naval Commander stated that the object had been tracked on radar.

The light-colored gray device, with no visible seams or rivet patterns, was estimated to be the size of a small airliner, with no sound. Radiation was reportedly detected, and debris less than one meter in size was recovered.
