Sighting Description: In the morning, a witness saw an object of dark color and indeterminate shape fall into the sea with a high flash of light. Numerous boats, including two tugboats from the Harbor Master's Office of the Port of Genoa and the motor-ship Augustus, attempted a search operation. Because of the poor sea conditions, they found nothing.
